Igniting the Power in Tampa Bay

Igniting the Power is a free event and a local celebration of the National Power to End Stroke campaign. Power To End Stroke is the national movement created by the American Stroke Association to educate African Americans about their increased risk for stroke. Igniting the Power will embrace and celebrate the culture, creativity and energy of African Americans to reduce their risk through live music, nationally recognized celebrities, such as Donna Richardson Joyner, the fitness guru and wife of Tom Joyner, and Andrea “Drea” Baptiste from NBC’s “The Biggest Loser,” prizes and more.
